Bon Secours – St. Mary’s Hospital of Richmond is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neurovascular Care to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This is a hospital-based role with full travel support provided.

Practice Setting: Hospital-based, adult & geriatric patients

Neurosurgeons in Practice: 3

EMR: Epic

Autonomy: No – supervising physician always available (in person or by phone)

Credentialing Timeline: ~120 days
Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat illnesses

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Write prescriptions
-
Coordinate care across specialties

Serve as first responder to all code stroke alerts within the facility

Requirements

Certifications: AANP (required), ACLS (required), ENLS (required), DEA, CDS certification

Licensure: Active Virginia NP license (required)

Experience: Neurovascular experience strongly preferred (no new grads)
