Neurosurgery NP – Inpatient Role (7 On / 7 Off)
Schedule: 0630–1830, 7 days on / 7 days off
Coverage: 100% Inpatient Floor (No OR / No Call)
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in neurosurgery to join our inpatient neurosurgical team. This role is strictly non-operative, focusing on the management of neurosurgical inpatients, including post-operative care and neurocritical care.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide care to neurosurgical inpatients with varying acuity.

Manage patients in the MICU, SICU, and ED settings.

Collaborate with a team of 7 neurosurgeons.

Handle a case mix of cranial and spinal patients, typically ranging from 50/50 to variable splits based on surgical volume and patient needs.
Qualifications:

Must have extensive experience in neurosurgery, including inpatient management, post-op care, and ICU-level acuity.

Neurocritical care experience is required.

Strong clinical decision-making, autonomy, and teamwork skills are essential.
