Job Responsibilities
• Provide rounding and patient management on the surgical floor.
• Manage orders, consults, progress notes, and discharges.
• Work with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic teams.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekdays and weekends.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ recent surgical or hospital experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Board certified (preferred)
• AHA BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
Working Hours
• Flexible short-term locum schedule (3x12s, 4x10s, 5x8s depending on week)
Skills
• Surgical first assist and clinical floor management
• Acute care patient handling
