- Shift: Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM) — 12-hour shifts
- Hours/Week: 36-40 hours
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Licenses/Certifications: ANCC, BLS, Board Certified, DEA required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience highly preferred; surgical fellowship completion advantageous
- Pay Package: $136,822 – $179,379 annually (based on experience)
- Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000 annually through Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP)
- Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates
- Malpractice Insurance: Fully paid
- CME Allowance: Up to $3,500/year plus 5 CME days
- Retirement Plans: 403(b) with employer match, optional 457(b)

- Provide overnight trauma and emergency surgery care for adult patients
- Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment strategies
- Manage inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery cases autonomously and collaboratively
- Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management
- Document care accurately in Epic EMR
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical staff bylaws
- Contribute to quality improvement, safety standards, and ongoing clinical education sessions
- Participate in mentorship and professional development opportunities
- Current active licenses, including ANCC certification and DEA registration
- BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 2 years of trauma or acute surgical experience (fellowship preferred)
- Ability to work independently with excellent teamwork skills
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making capabilities
