Opportunity:
- Looking for about 1 week on/1 week off coverage starting in January
- The position is to help with ED on call coverage
- Providers will be expected to be on call for the ED and during their shift complete surgeries and rotate doing post op consults
- Shifts for the APP's are 7a-3p, 11a-7p weekdays and 7a-3p shifts on the weekends
- Looking for acute care surgery experience in candidates.
- The APP is there to assist the surgeon.
- If the provider is on call coverage and gets a call about an other urgent case, the APP be the first to be called to go assist and then the surgeon will join them
- Occasionally the APP does help with post op consults if the surgeon is stuck in a surgery
- There will be no clinic for this position
