We are currently seeking a proactive and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative healthcare team in a radiology-focused setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, procedural support, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care surrounding imaging procedures.

  • IV Access Support: Assist with initiating intravenous lines for imaging procedures and other clinical needs as appropriate.
  • Procedure Preparation: Reach out to patients ahead of scheduled imaging appointments to provide guidance, answer questions, and confirm readiness.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Contrast Monitoring: Supervise patients receiving contrast agents during imaging studies, ensuring safety and responding to any adverse reactions.
  • Clinical Documentation: Accurately record patient interactions, assessments, and procedural details in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s program in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
  • Current and valid NP or PA license in the state of New York; board certification required (ANCC for NPs or NCCPA for PAs).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, clinical judgment, and comfort working both independently and within a team.
