Jackson and Coker is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a part-time opportunity in Hamden, Connecticut.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a provider passionate about child and adolescent mental health who enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and helping young patients and their families navigate behavioral health challenges.
Details/Requirements:
--Location: Hamden, Connecticut--Schedule: Part-time
--Patient Population: Children and adolescents
--Setting: Behavioral health, with residential and school-based program environments
--Clinical Responsibilities: Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and consultations
--Team Environment: Collaborative, multidisciplinary behavioral health team
--Call: Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation
--Focus Areas: Youth mental health, trauma, family systems, and neurodevelopmental disorders
--Active Connecticut APRN license
--Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA Registration
--Experience treating children and adolescents with behavioral health needs
--Strong clinical communication and collaboration skills
--Outpatient, residential, or community behavioral health experience preferred
