🩺 Key Responsibilities
✅ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
✅ Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
✅ Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
✅ Prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols.
✅ Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic tests.
✅ Educate patients and families about treatment plans, preventive healthcare, and disease management.
✅ Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
✅ Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate test results to patients promptly.
✅ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
🎓 Required Certifications & Qualifications
🔹 Nurse Practitioner License: North Dakota license or applicable compact-state eligibility, as accepted by the employer, before the start date.
🔹 PMHNP Certification: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), required before starting.
🔹 BLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA).
🔹 ACLS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA).
🔹 PALS Certification: American Heart Association (AHA).
🔹 Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
