Job description
On-site, Part-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner position in Texas. The role involves psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment planning for residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
Locations include Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Lampasas, and Laredo. Monday–Friday scheduling is available, with no evening, weekend, or on-call duties. Compensation is negotiable. Spanish proficiency is required for the Laredo location.
Experience in geriatric psychiatry
Job Responsibilities
Manage psychiatric medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide psychiatric care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
Coordinate care with facility staff and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain clinical documentation and support continuity of care.
Qualifications
PMHNP certification required.
Ability to provide on-site care in long-term care and skilled nursing settings.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Spanish proficiency required for the Laredo location.
Working Hours
