Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Day shift; flexible start/end times based on operational needs)
Duration: At least 6 months
Shift Details: No nights, weekends, or holidays required
• Discharge & Referrals: Handle discharge planning, follow-up care, and evaluate the necessity for internal or external specialist referrals.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely medical records according to agency standards, protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Cooperate with medical quality oversight as required.
• Clinical Direction & Committees: Provide clinical direction to support staff (RNs, LPNs, phlebotomists). Participate in quality improvement measures, staff meetings, and professional committees as requested.
• Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist program.
• Board Certification: Current national board certification (e.g., ANCC psychiatric-mental health certification). Board-eligible candidates may be considered.
• Certifications: Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification and an active DEA registration (or ability to obtain within 1 month of employment).

Job Responsibilities
• Patient Care & Treatment: Create and implement patient care plans within the scope of licensure. Monitor chronic conditions, perform routine physical examinations, evaluate acute/chronic cases, prescribe medications, and order/review diagnostic testing (labs, X-rays).• Discharge & Referrals: Handle discharge planning, follow-up care, and evaluate the necessity for internal or external specialist referrals.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely medical records according to agency standards, protocols, and HIPAA regulations. Cooperate with medical quality oversight as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Licensure & Certification: Active, unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse license and a valid Certificate of Authority / Certificate to Prescribe from the Ohio Board of Nursing.• Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist program.
• Board Certification: Current national board certification (e.g., ANCC psychiatric-mental health certification). Board-eligible candidates may be considered.
