A facility in Davenport, Iowa is looking for a full-time PMHNP starting as soon as credentialed to help at their inpatient facility.
Job Responsibilities
- 3 Units in the same location for a total of 36 beds - 28 Adult; 8 Adolescent with one other Advanced Practitioner and a Psychiatris
Call is 1:3 during the day (8:00AM - 5:00PM) which consists of taking calls from the EDs for admissions and seeing consults (average of 2 per day).
Physicians - 3
Advanced Practitioners - 7
Exam Rooms - None - patients are seen in their rooms
Supervising Physician - Yes, Psychiatrists supervise and co-sign notes of Advanced Practitioners
Nursing Support - 1:5 nursing ratio on unit, 1:13 for behavior health techs
Ancillary Staff Per Provider - Recreational Therapists, Social Workers, UM Nurse and Discharge Planners
EMR - Cerner, but changing to EPIC on 9/26/2026
Medical Imaging - Yes
Lab - Yes
Pharmacy - Yes
Daily Volume - Adults - 14 / Adolescents - 4
Setting - Inpatient Behavioral Health, Hospital Consults
Appointment Length - Average - 3 - 5 Days
Trauma - Level III

Active Iowa State License
No New Grads
Working Hours
Monday - Friday and one weekend per month
Call is 1:3 during the day 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Night Call is 1:4 from 5:00PM - 8:00AM
