Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse
Pay rate: $80/hr,- $85/hr.
Hours/week: 40 hr./week
Location: Trenton, NJ 08628
Shift: 8:30 – 4 pm (M-F)

Required Skills:
- Current valid certification as an APN issues by the state of New Jersey Board of Nursing in an advanced practice category of psychiatric/mental health
- DEA registration number, BCLS certified.
- Advanced Practice Nurse – Behavioral Health with at least 5,000 hours of clinical practice.
- 5 years of experience in mental health services
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Job responsibilities:
Work in a forensic setting. In collaboration with the psychiatrist, the APN will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with severe mental illness who are involved in the judicial system. Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine a patient's symptom severity and risk for violence, review medical history, use diagnostic tools like the DSM-5, complete charting documentation as required by the facility, and prescribe and manage medications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
