A health services network in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within an inpatient behavioral health setting in Tolland County.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Per Diem (Flexible dates throughout 2026)

  • Hours: 8:30am to 5pm with a ½ hour lunch

  • Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health

  • Patient Population: Child & Adolescent

Responsibilities:

  • Providing psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients

  • Managing a caseload independently

  • Ensuring quality care and compliance with standards

  • Conducting patient assessments and treatment planning

  • Coordinating patient discharge processes

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in an inpatient setting

  • Medical degree or relevant advanced nursing degree

  • Applicable certifications (e.g., Board Certification or PMHNP)

  • Strong clinical skills in Psychiatry

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced Degree in Psychiatry or Mental Health Nursing

  • Relevant board certification

  • Experience with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
