A health services network in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner within an inpatient behavioral health setting in Tolland County.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Per Diem (Flexible dates throughout 2026)
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm with a ½ hour lunch
Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health
Patient Population: Child & Adolescent
Responsibilities:
Providing psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients
Managing a caseload independently
Ensuring quality care and compliance with standards
Conducting patient assessments and treatment planning
Coordinating patient discharge processes
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in an inpatient setting
Medical degree or relevant advanced nursing degree
Applicable certifications (e.g., Board Certification or PMHNP)
Strong clinical skills in Psychiatry
Desired Skills:
Advanced Degree in Psychiatry or Mental Health Nursing
Relevant board certification
Experience with Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
