About the Opportunity:

- Setting: Behavioral Health / Mental Health Services
Responsibilities:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
- Conducting psychiatric and mental status evaluations
- Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, including monitoring and labs
- Providing ongoing psychiatric care and crisis intervention as needed
- Developing and reviewing treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Documenting clinical services in the electronic medical record
- Coordinating care with physicians, therapists, and other providers
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
- Active and unrestricted New York State NP and RN licenses
- Active DEA and NPI registration
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience in behavioral health or mental health settings
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
- Bilingual Spanish
- Experience with high-risk or complex patient populations
- Proficiency with EMR systems
