Facility:
This is a free-standing 70-bed psychiatric hospital specializing in treating patients with serious mental illness. The facility offers excellent support staff including nursing and social work teams, as well as onsite primary care providers who assess medical conditions and handle medical consults.
Opportunity: Board Eligible-Psychiatry
This is a locum tenens position from November 1, 2025 to February 28, 2026. The position requires experience with inpatient psychiatry, with preference given to those experienced with long-acting injectables and Clozapine.
Job Details:
- Manage a caseload of 12-15 patients per day
- Primarily treat patients with serious mental illness, most commonly psychotic disorders
- Average of 2-3 new admissions per week
- Work with comprehensive support team including nursing, social work, and onsite primary care
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days (expedited privileges possible with clean history)
- SeaTac is the nearest airport
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
Estimated Hourly Rate: $100 - $115
