Locations: Newport News and Chesapeake, Virginia. Located in southeastern Virginia. The city offers a range of cultural and recreational amenities, including museums such as The Mariners' Museum and Park, which houses a large collection of maritime artifacts. Newport News is also known for its parks and outdoor recreational opportunities along the James River and in the Newport News Park.
Facility: The health system offers a wide range of healthcare services including primary care, dental care, behavioral health services, women's health, pediatric care, and chronic disease management. They aim to provide comprehensive and accessible healthcare to individuals and families in the community.
Opportunity: PMHNP- Ongoing, Part Time Coverage with Hybrid Schedule
* Full or part time, employed opportunity
* Schedule: Mostly onsite required, hybrid schedule option available
* HPSA Score: 18
* Patient Population: Adults aged 18+. Provider can see children and adolescents if desired.
* EMR: eClinical Works. Transitioning to EPIC (date TBD)
* 45 minute - 1 hour initial evaluations; 30 minute follow ups
* VA license: active, pending or recently non-active
Compensation: Competitive annual salary. Details to be discussed during interview.
