Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse Practitioner Locum Need
Schedule:

3x12-hour shifts/week

Mix of day (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and night shifts (50/50 split)

Every 3rd weekend required
-
No call
-
Holidays paid at 1.5x

Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

Facility Type: Hospital

Bed Size: 477
-
Average Census: 5–12 patients/day

Patient Population: Neonates, infants, and pediatric patients

Support Staff: RNs, APPs, attending physicians
Skills & Procedures Required:
-
Critical care for high-acuity cardiac patients
-
Post-operative cardiac management
-
Experience with congenital heart defects
-
Pediatric CICU experience required
Requirements:
-
Board Certified NP (ANCC or AANP) in Pediatric Cardiology
-
Active MA license (no licensing assistance available)
-
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
-
MA Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and DEA license required
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in pediatric CICU
EMR: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
