This opportunity is with a mission-driven, 1,708-bed academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people across 29 eastern North Carolina counties. The not-for-profit system is comprised of more than 15,000 team members, nine hospitals, a children's hospital, and a physician group encompassing over 1,200 academic and community providers practicing across more than 120 locations. The flagship medical center and children's hospital are both designated Level I Trauma Centers and serve as primary teaching hospitals for a nationally recognized allopathic medical school.Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - PediatricsJob Details:
- Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant sought to join an expanding pediatric urgent care division
- Outpatient only clinical care provided in an immediate/urgent care setting
- Clinic operates daily from 7 AM to 9 PM
- Schedule includes 36-40 clinical hours per week with one weekend per month required
- Flexible shift scheduling options available with up to 12-hour shifts
- Provide acute and episodic care to patients from birth to 18 years of age
- Procedures include, but are not limited to, foreign body removal, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and splinting
- No call required
- High level of autonomy with full practice support
- Integrated Electronic Health Record (EPIC) utilized
- Experienced candidates preferred
- Relocation assistance available
