Job description
Merit Health Wesley is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established outpatient Pediatric clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative pediatric team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families in the community.
Position Highlights
- Hospital-employed, full-time position with Merit Health Wesley
- Outpatient Pediatric clinic setting
- Monday–Friday schedule with typical daytime clinic hours
- Join an established pediatric practice with experienced physicians
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including wellness visits, preventive care, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and families
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an NP required
- Previous pediatric experience is a plus!
- Currently licensed or eligible for Nurse Practitioner licensure in Mississippi
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered pediatric care
