A growing network of school-based health centers in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Lead Nurse Practitioner to serve as both a hands-on clinical provider and site leader, caring for students from Pre-K through high school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pediatric-focused NP, including strong new grads with school-based RN experience, who wants meaningful, community-centered work with real work-life balance.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver primary, acute, and reproductive healthcare to pediatric patients alongside a supervising physician
  • Serve as a day-to-day clinical and operational leader at your site, supporting staff and daily workflows
  • Conduct physical assessments, screenings, and health histories in line with clinical and NYSDOH standards
  • Administer routine immunizations and maintain program eligibility for children's vaccine initiatives
  • Order and follow up on diagnostic tests, referrals, and any needed hospitalizations or emergency visits
  • Supervise clinical support staff and contribute to performance reviews
  • Partner with school leadership and program managers to support integrated student health services
  • Help maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and public health regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Active NY State RN and NP license
  • Comfort working with children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus
  • New grad NPs with solid school-based or pediatric RN experience are welcome to apply!

Why You'll Love This Role:

  • Salary: $120,000–$140,000
  • Low daily patient volume
  • Full-time, 12-month schedule with meaningful summer scheduling flexibility
  • The chance to build lasting relationships within a school community and truly impact student wellness

If you're passionate about pediatric care and ready to lead with heart, we'd love to hear from you!
