Client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team in Columbus, GA.
This full-time, on-site role provides comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents. Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, physical examinations, and health assessments.
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute illnesses and chronic health conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice.
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
Provide age-appropriate counseling and education to patients and caregivers.
Administer and support preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, screenings, and developmental evaluations.
Monitor growth, development, and overall pediatric wellness.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Follow regulatory, safety, and quality standards to support excellent patient care.
Contribute to a welcoming, family-focused clinic environment.
Qualifications
Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia.
National board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or eligibility and commitment to obtain certification.
Minimum of 1 year of healthcare provider experience preferred.
Experience providing outpatient pediatric care preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Columbus, GA.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric primary care experience.
Experience managing immunizations, developmental screenings, and chronic pediatric conditions.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Experience working in a family-centered or community-based pediatric setting.
Commitment to culturally sensitive care and continuous professional development.
