We are seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner for an inpatient locums opportunity with flexible scheduling and the potential for an expedited start.
Start Timeline:
- Preference for providers with clean files to support emergency credentialing
- Emergency credentialing may allow for an August start
Credentialing Requirements:
- Current CV required
- Active license
- DEA required
- Board Certified only
- Clean NPDB
- Clean malpractice history (including dismissed and dropped cases)
- Clean background check
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- ATLS
- PALS/APLS
Schedule:
- Inpatient hospital-based coverage with call responsibilities
- Flexible scheduling — open to full-time coverage or 3–4 shifts per week minimum
- 12-hour shifts
Shift Options:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (in-house coverage)
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night beeper call)
If covering both day and night:
- Regular hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Call Requirements:
- Weeknight beeper call
- 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Providers must be willing to work nights and weekends
Practice Details:
- Pediatric patient population only
- No adult patients (up to approximately ages 16–17)
