Interventional Pain Medicine NP or PA

A well-established, multidisciplinary orthopedic and pain management group in Central New Jersey is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to split time between hospital rounds and a busy outpatient clinic, with the chance to first-assist in minimally invasive spine surgery.

What You’ll Do:

• Round on inpatients and complete consults at a partner community hospital, including postoperative, cancer, and acute or chronic pain patients
• Perform histories and physicals and write pre- and post-operative orders
• See outpatient clinic patients for image reviews, procedure follow-ups, and therapy evaluations
• Independently assess patients and order appropriate labs, imaging, consults, injections, and surgeries
• Prescribe medications per NJ law, including controlled substances with DEA authorization
• Assist in surgical cases as the opportunity arises
• Partner with attending physicians, fellow APPs, and the broader care team on individualized treatment plans
• Keep growing as a clinician in a group that stays current on modern, minimally invasive care

What You’ll Bring:

• NJ NP license (AGNP-BC or FNP-BC) or NJ PA license
• Pain management, orthopedic, or OR experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to your own professional development
