Description:
Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient pain medicine practice serving Ocean and Monmouth Counties, New Jersey.
Location: Ocean and Monmouth Counties, New Jersey, with convenient access to the Jersey Shore.
Coverage may span approximately 4 to 5 nearby locations, including outpatient offices and a surgery center in Ocean County.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions while collaborating closely with experienced Pain Management physicians.
The NP will perform histories and physical examinations, evaluate pain conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, provide medication management, order and interpret diagnostic testing, monitor treatment response, and assist with or perform appropriate pain management procedures based on training, experience, and scope of practice.
This is a full-time outpatient opportunity offering exposure to interventional pain management, spine care, chronic pain treatment, and procedural medicine within an established private-practice environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
• Monitor patient response to treatment
• Assist with or perform appropriate pain management procedures within scope of practice
• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
• Collaborate with Pain Management physicians and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
• National board certification
• Active or eligible New Jersey Nurse Practitioner/APRN license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Pain Management or related specialty experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• No visa sponsorship available
