Job description Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pain Management

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States

Position Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate, and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – to join our dynamic team at the Killeen location. The licensed practitioner will manage patient care, coordinate treatments, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as nursing standards of care.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Develop and contribute to patient care plans.
  • Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatments and medications.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • RN licensure in Texas.
  • Board certification by ANCC
  • Nurse Practitioner
  • Prior experience with pain management patients preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to talk, hear, and communicate effectively.
  • Long periods of sitting, moderate standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
