Job Responsibilities
- Manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients (floor and ICU)
- Conduct daily rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Perform pre-operative physical exams and evaluations
- Remove sutures and manage surgical wound care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Participate in structured call rotation
Qualifications
- ANCC or AANP Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Active or eligible for Ohio licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery experience required
- Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills
