Overview
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide overnight Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage in a hospital-based setting. This role focuses on high-acuity trauma and emergency general surgery patients with strong physician collaboration and autonomous practice.
Practice Highlights

Overnight coverage: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Trauma and Acute Care Surgery inpatient services
-
Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients
-
Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing care

Work autonomously with physician and multidisciplinary collaboration

EMR: Epic
-
Participation in mentorship, leadership development, and continuing education programs

System-wide name clearance required
Schedule & Coverage
-
Full-time overnight shifts
-
Permanent role only (no locums or locum-to-perm)

Hospital-based inpatient coverage
Candidate Requirements
-
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN required)

NP certification by ANCC or AANPCB – REQUIRED
-
Unrestricted Colorado license – REQUIRED
-
Eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment – REQUIRED
-
BLS certification (no exemptions) – REQUIRED
-
Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience OR completion of a surgical fellowship – HIGHLY PREFERRED

Not accepting fresh graduates
-
No visa sponsorship available (no J-1 or H-1B)

Clean malpractice and license history preferred

No sanctions/exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA – REQUIRED
