An established and growing health system is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery NP or PA to join its surgical team. This opportunity offers the perfect blend of hands-on surgical experience, clinical variety, and professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Position Responsibilities

• First assist orthopedic surgeons during operative procedures

• Conduct inpatient rounds and postoperative evaluations

• Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient clinic setting

• Perform casting, splinting, and wound care

• Assist with orthopedic consultations and patient assessments

• Provide preoperative and postoperative management

• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing, and rehabilitation teams

• Participate in call coverage as assigned

Ideal Candidate

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)

• Active Texas license or ability to obtain licensure

• Orthopedic or relevant surgical experience preferred

• OR first-assist experience strongly preferred

• Comfortable working across surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Strong clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
