• Orthopedic APP needed to collaborate with attending physicians in managing inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and surgical orthopedic care in a full-time hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in daily rounds and multidisciplinary care discussions
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, EMG, bone scans)
• Perform orthopedic procedures including wound care, injections, reductions, splinting, casting, and minor surgical procedures
• Assist in orthopedic surgeries as first assist and with tissue closures
• Provide ED and inpatient orthopedic coverage, including call rotation
• Manage post-operative and hospitalized patient care
• Utilize EMR (EPIC) for documentation and order entry
• Complete discharge summaries, H&Ps, and care documentation
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Qualifications
• Active Oregon license
• Full-time availability required
• Eligible for medical staff or allied health privileges
• NPDB self-query at submission
• CAQH login credentials
• Ability to start ASAP
Working Hours
• Work week: Sunday–Saturday
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Call coverage required
