We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated Orthopedic Spine Team in the Indianapolis area!

Position Details:

• Full-time, Day shift
  • Monday - Friday, variable schedule based on surgery and clinic days
  • Potential need for weekend support
• 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient
• Team includes 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
• Patient census of approximately 45/week
• Practice at IU West and Methodist Hospitals, & Goodman Hall

Key Responsibilities:

• Outpatient clinic evaluation of new and return patients.
• Inpatient evaluation/rounding
• Surgical first assist in the OR
• Preoperative Phone Calls

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required
• APP experience in Surgery preferred, but open to highly motivated new graduates
  • Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Spine, Critical Care or Emergency Medicine RN experience or clinical rotation required
• First Assist experience in the OR highly preferred
• Candidate must be flexible, proactive and have strong communication skills
• Candidate must have the skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
