Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hampton, VA 23665
Duration: Long Term
Schedule: Standard Shift
Important:
• The candidate must have prior experience working in a hospital facility
• Develop differential diagnoses and order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications and immunizations in accordance with approved protocols.
• Recognize emergency or complex conditions and arrange appropriate physician referral.
• Perform approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Provide telephone consultations and patient/family education.
• Promote preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, continuing education, and quality improvement activities.
• BLS/CPR cert

Minimum Qualifications
• Active state license of RN and NP• BLS/CPR cert
