Job description
The Institute, accredited by the NAPBC, NQMBC, CoC, and ACOS, is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join their collaborative team in the Quad Cities region — the largest metropolitan area on the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Louis.
This is a permanent position (NO locums, NO visa candidates, NO new graduates). Clean malpractice history preferred.
The role is primarily based in Davenport, IA, with coverage responsibilities in Clinton, IA and Silvis, IL. Provider must be willing to travel between all three locations.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver team-based collaborative cancer treatment services
Work alongside 4 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards
Support infusion therapy, radiation oncology, genetic testing & surgical oncology services
Coordinate care with dieticians, cancer navigators & hospitalist team
Provide education and ongoing support to patients and families
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with oncology standards
Qualifications
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner – REQUIRED
IA and IL Licenses (or willing to obtain) – REQUIRED
Minimum 3–5 years Oncology NP work experience (not including RN experience) – REQUIRED
DEA (or able to obtain prior to start) – REQUIRED
CSR/CDS (or able to obtain prior to start) – REQUIRED
Most recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days active) – REQUIRED
Clean malpractice history – PREFERRED
Willingness to cover Davenport, Clinton & Silvis clinics – REQUIRED
Not accepting new graduate
Providers with malpractice cases in probate or requiring supervision cannot be accepted
