This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cancer center with excellent support staff including experienced clinic and infusion RNs, a dedicated RN navigator, radiation oncology services, dosimetry, radiation therapy, dietitian, prior authorization specialists, and patient advocate services. The center offers advanced treatment options including scalp cooling and maintains a tumor registry.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
Job Details:
• Clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM • Coverage needed at least three days per week (Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs) • See 8-10 patients per clinic day in an outpatient medical oncology setting • Complete staging workups for cancer patients • Formulate and initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments • Collaborate with radiation oncology (on site) and surgical oncology (off site) • Work alongside other NPs or PAs in a team environment • Provide oversight to clinical aspects of treatment delivery and infusions • Coordinate patient care across regional health systems when necessary • Treat various cancer types including head and neck, prostate, breast, skin, melanoma, lung, lymphomas, liver, colon/rectal, sarcoma, ovarian, testicular, gynecologic, neuroendocrine, bladder, kidney, brain, pancreatic, and metastatic disease • Manage non-malignant hematology cases • Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required • Work with Mosaiq/Meditech EMR systems • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible • North Dakota license or IMLC highly preferred (will accept non-licensed candidates willing to obtain ND license) • BLS certification required • DEA license required • Clean malpractice history highly preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
