This facility is a comprehensive cancer treatment center offering integrated oncology services to patients throughout the region. The center provides state-of-the-art cancer care in a supportive environment with a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and patient support.
Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
Job Details:
• Locum coverage in Medical Oncology from February 1, 2026 - September 30, 2026 • Practice setting: Free-standing Cancer Center • Patient mix includes 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology • Manage approximately 15 outpatient visits per day • Handle approximately 20 hospital patients during call/rounding days • Join a collaborative team of 8 physicians and 4 APPs • Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations • Call responsibilities include first call for patient and hospital calls Tuesday 4:30pm-8:00am, Friday 4:30pm-Monday 8:00am • On-site inpatient rounding required on Saturdays and Sundays • Call rotation approximately every 5-6 weeks depending on staffing • Duties include management of bone marrow transplants, blood bank, ordering tests, ordering images, and prescribing • Epic EMR system utilized for documentation • Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days • Facility reimburses for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
