We have a great opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Clinic in Bloomington, IN!

Position Details:

  • Full time, Day Shift
  • 4 10-hour shifts per week
  • No call, holidays, or weekends
  • 100% outpatient
  • Practice includes 1 physician and 3 advanced practice providers
  • Primary location is Bloomington, with minimal time spent in Bedford Clinic to cover provider PTO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver care to injured workers and also perform medical exams on employee who are required to have the exam per their employer
  • Perform assessments of muscular skeletal injuries
  • Perform suturing of minor lacerations, DOT exams which require federal certification, OSHA mandated test review such as hearing tests and spirometry
  • Have direct communication to employers regarding injury care of their employee as well as employer mandated exams

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, FNP or PA-C required
  • DOT certification required (must obtain at least 30 days before start date)
  • Experience in Orthopedics preferred
    • Provider must have MSK assessment experience
  • Must be willing to gain knowledge of occupational health practice
