NP/PA OBGYN Locum – Colorado Springs, CO

Setting: Clinic + Hospital Coverage

Schedule:

• Primarily clinic coverage Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Some hospital coverage required
• Ideally seeking full-time coverage

Call Schedule:

• 1:5 weekday call
• 1:10 overnight/weekend call

Compensation:

• Rate TBD/Negotiable
• We present/submit at your rate

Practice Details:

• Group consists of 5 OB/GYNs and 2 mid-levels
• No supervision responsibilities
• Other OB/GYNs onsite during coverage
• Average 20 clinic patients per day
• Average 3 deliveries per week
• Average 8 GYN surgeries per week

Case Load Mix:

• Low risk pregnancy: 70%
• High risk pregnancy: 10%
• C-Section: 30%
• Office GYN: 10%
• Surgical GYN: 10%

Clinic Resources:

• Lab onsite
• Ultrasound onsite (performed by techs)
• 11 exam rooms
• Support staff includes RNs, LPNs, MAs, PAS, and surgery scheduler
• Equipment includes LEEP, NST, ultrasound, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, and colposcopy

Hospital Details:

• Memorial Central Hospital
• 413 beds
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Single hospital coverage

Required Experience:

• Routine and complicated OB deliveries
• C-sections
• VBACs
• FHR interpretation
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Management of low-risk pregnancies with complications

Preferred Experience:

• High-risk pregnancy management
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation
• Office/minor gynecology procedures including IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
