Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Neurology Department in Germantown, Maryland.
This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to work across outpatient and inpatient settings while collaborating closely with neurologists and other healthcare professionals. The NP will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of neurological conditions and contribute to comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Conduct neurological assessments, review medical histories, and assist with diagnostic and treatment planning.

Manage follow-up care for patients with chronic neurological disorders, including migraines, seizures, and neuropathies.

Provide inpatient neurology support and consultations as needed.

Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide coordinated patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and ongoing care.

Participate in clinical meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).

Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Maryland NP license.

Experience: Prior neurology or inpatient experience preferred; motivated new graduates welcome.

Skills: Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Language: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
