Locum Tenens Opportunity
Prime Staffing is seeking a qualified provider for an exciting assignment.

Contract Length: 20 weeks
Shift Details: 3x12 & 2 8’s/mo
Schedule: schedule will be 3x12 during the week and then providers will need to work bi-weekly Saturday shifts for 8 hours (so 3x12 weekly and an 8 hour shift every other week)
Call requirements/a
Work Details:
• Support staff:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: every week, 3x12 + 8
• Patients per day: between 30-40 pts/day, split up between 3 APPs and 1-2 residents
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Inpatient meaning no assisting in OR, no new patient consults, and no call. Just discharging post-op patients and lots of care coordination and discharge planning.

• Special procedures:
• Skills required: Must have experience managing pre/post op spinal surgery patients
**please note, APP will not be utilized in OR. APP will work in inpatient setting only, as OR time gets allocated to residents and fellows before APPs**
Practice Setting:
• Academic/Training
Requirements:
• Board Certification: For NP, must have one of the following board certs: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
For PA: they must have a master’s degree in physician assistant studies
• License required: For NP, CA license is required. For PA, we can review candidates needing a license
• DEA: CA DEA with Schedule 2/2n required
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required:
Ideal candidate would be minimum 2 years inpatient experience in an academic medical center supporting complex spine patients with high volume very busy spine service.
Must have experience working with spine cases
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
BR: $240/hr all inclusive
