Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for a full-time neurosurgery locums opportunity in a hospital-based inpatient/outpatient setting. This 26-week assignment offers a Monday–Friday schedule with options to extend or transition to permanent placement. Provider will support both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care, including post-op management, imaging and scan coordination, case management, and treatment of high-acuity neuro patients such as brain tumors, meningiomas, and neuro ICU cases. Responsibilities may include pulling surgical drains, with training available for EVD drain removal if needed.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of neurosurgery, neuro ICU, or complex surgical floor experience. Candidates must hold an active state license, DEA with Schedule II authorization, and BLS certification. NP candidates must be ACNP/AGACNP certified, and PA candidates must have a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. EMR is Epic. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 45–60 days with 1–2 interview rounds.
