This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to neonates in a Level II NICU, where you will work collaboratively with physicians while primarily managing the daily care of infants. The position offers 24-hour shifts with clinical autonomy in an engaging environment.
Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Hospital - Start Date: ASAP - Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM - Patient Population: Neonates - Location: Lancaster, PA - Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities - Oversee daily care of neonates in a 3-bed NICU - Perform medical procedures such as UVC/UAC line insertion, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and intubations - Collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive care - Conduct patient encounters outside NICU as needed
Qualifications - Active or in-process Pennsylvania license preferred - BLS and PALS certifications required - Board Certification mandatory - Experience in neonatology and required medical procedures
Working Hours - 24-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM - Patient encounters per shift: 3-6 - Orientation provided over 1 full day
Skills - Proficient in neonatal medical procedures - Ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team - Familiarity with Epic EMR is beneficial
