Position: Full-Time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Facility: Level III NICU

Position Overview

• Join a well-established Level III NICU team in Gastonia, NC.
• 16-bed NICU featuring innovative single-room NICU and mother-baby care designed around a family-centered approach.
• Work alongside 2 neonatologists and 5–6 NNPs serving families throughout Gaston County and surrounding areas.
• Approximately 320 NICU admissions and 1,900 births annually.
• Average daily NICU census of approximately 10 patients.
• Provide care in the Level III NICU and assist with coverage in the newborn nursery.
• NNPs provide approximately 20 hours/day of shift coverage.
• Neonatologists provide in-house daytime coverage and home call at night.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
• Active North Carolina APRN license.
• Minimum 2 years of current NNP experience.
• Active DEA for North Carolina.
• APRN National Specialty Certification – Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
• FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications cannot be accepted.
