Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Opportunity in Gastonia, NC

We are excited to offer an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our well-established Level III NICU team located in the vibrant Charlotte suburb of Gastonia, NC. Our 16-bed NICU is nationally recognized and features cutting-edge architectural design that supports a family-centered approach to care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in a Level III NICU.
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists and a team of NNPs.
- Assist in the management of approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually.
- Deliver care in both the NICU and newborn nursery settings.
- Participate in supportive scheduling with 20 hours of coverage per day.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing (required).
- APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP (required).
- 2+ years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience) (required).
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) (required).
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) (required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- North Carolina license (or willingness to obtain) (required).
- DEA registration (required before start).
