• Average Daily Census: Approximately 15 patients

• Nursery: NICU only; no nursery coverage

• Coverage Model: In-house NNPs with out-of-house neonatologists

• Practice Model: Collaborative, team-based care

Qualifications & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program

• Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)

• Strong clinical expertise in Level III NICU care

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to collaborative, team-based practice

• Dedication to evidence-based, family-centered care

Clinical Setting

• 30-bed Level III NICU

• Average daily census of approximately 15 patients

• In-house NNP coverage

• Out-of-house neonatologist coverage

• Collaborative care with neonatologists, residents, and multidisciplinary team members

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU

• Participate in high-risk delivery attendance and neonatal resuscitation

• Collaborate with neonatologists, residents, and multidisciplinary team members

• Communicate effectively with families regarding care plans and patient progress

• Provide evidence-based, family-centered neonatal care
