Job description
We're seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Michigan. This is an inpatient NICU position with excellent compensation, a collaborative team, and all travel expenses covered.
Travel & lodging fully covered
Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
Flights reimbursed
Malpractice coverage included
Duration: Ongoing (TBD)
Practice Setting: Inpatient Level III NICU
Trauma Designation: Level I Trauma Center
EMR: Epic
Average Census: 10–12 patients per APP per day
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Credentialing timeline: Approximately 120+ days

Requirements
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Active Michigan license (required at submission)
- Current NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor certification
- Neonatal experience required (new graduates will not be considered)
- Self-Query NPDB required at presentation
Required Procedures
- Delivery room attendance
- Neonatal resuscitation
- PICC line placement
- Umbilical line placement
- Needle aspiration
- Chest tube placement
- Additional Information
- APPs work alongside supervising physicians (no autonomous practice)
