Job description
Seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing inpatient NICU locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. Enjoy a consistent schedule with weekday nights and weekend coverage while working alongside an established neonatal care team. Travel assistance is available for qualified providers.
Job Responsibilities
Perform neonatal assessments, rounding, and patient management.
Collaborate with physicians and the care team.
Document care in Cerner EMR.
Support high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care.
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts NP license
Current BLS and PALS certifications
Recent inpatient NICU experience required
Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileging
Working Hours
Monday–Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Weekends: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Onsite coverage required
Skills
Inpatient NICU clinical experience
Critical thinking and clinical decision-making
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with EMR documentation (Cerner experience preferred)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
