Position Overview
Seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing inpatient opportunity providing overnight neonatal coverage in a supportive hospital setting. This assignment offers a manageable patient volume and consistent long-term scheduling.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: June 1, 2026
- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts only
- No call required
Schedule
- Weekday shifts: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Weekend shifts: 2:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Primarily night coverage
Facility Details
- Inpatient neonatal department
- 15-bed unit
- EMR: Cerner
Clinical Responsibilities
- Neonatal inpatient coverage
- Average patient volume: 4–6 patients per shift
- Collaborative care environment with manageable census
Requirements
- Active Arizona license required
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PACNP training and NRP certification through ARC or AHA required
- Neonatal experience required
Credentialing
- Estimated timeframe: Approximately 120 days
