Job Responsibilities
• Manage critically ill and premature newborns
• Perform neonatal assessments, procedures, and resuscitation
• Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
• Develop and manage neonatal treatment plans
• Participate in rotating hospital coverage within the system
Qualifications
• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) – Required
• Active Florida NP License (or willing to obtain)
• Minimum 2+ years of current NNP experience (not including RN experience)
• DEA (required prior to start)
• Current NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
Working Hours
• Level III Units: 24-Hour Shifts
• Level IV Unit: 10–12 Hour Day Shifts | 12–16 Hour Night Shifts
• No On-Call Requirement
