Overview
Excellent opportunity for a Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a Level III NICU providing comprehensive inpatient neonatal care. The provider will work in a structured, team-based environment alongside Neonatologists, delivering high-quality care to critically ill and premature newborns.
Practice Highlights
• Provide comprehensive inpatient care in a Level III NICU
• Perform neonatal assessments, daily rounds, and ongoing patient management
• Collaborate closely with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Provide family education and counseling regarding neonatal conditions
• Support stabilization and management of high-risk and premature infants
• Practice within a team-based model (not autonomous practice)
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Opportunity to work in a highly reputable NICU environment
• New graduates accepted (must be truly board eligible)
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (required by start date)
• Completion of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program – REQUIRED
• Active Michigan Nurse Practitioner license – REQUIRED
• BLS and NRP certifications – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license history – REQUIRED
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) – REQUIRED at presentation
• Epic EMR experience – Highly Preferred
• Must be willing to complete 3–4 month credentialing process
• No visa candidates accepted
• Permanent candidates only (not accepting locums)
Schedule & Coverage
• Flexible schedule including 24-hour, 10-hour, and 8-hour shifts
• Inpatient NICU coverage only
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 3–4 months
