Location: McKinney, Texas (30 minutes from Dallas)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens
Work Setting: Level II & Level III NICUs (In-person)

About the Role

We’re seeking a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage at hospitals located approximately 30 minutes from Dallas, Texas. This opportunity offers exposure to both Level II and Level III NICUs, a collaborative care model, and flexible scheduling across multiple sites.

Job Responsibilities

- Round on and manage NICU infants and newborns
- Attend and support high-risk deliveries
- Provide neonatal resuscitation and delivery attendance
- Perform required neonatal procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric NPs, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

- Board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
- Active licensure or eligibility in Texas
- Experience in Level II and/or Level III NICU settings
- Strong clinical judgment and team-based communication skills

Working Hours

Schedule:
- 24-hour shifts
- Shifts available across multiple hospitals

Daily Volume:
- 4–20 neonates and 4–18 newborns, depending on site
