Children’s Wisconsin is seeking locum Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) to support their Level IV NICU at the main Milwaukee campus. This is a high-acuity, inborn and outborn setting with a strong team structure and a flexible scheduling model. Coverage is needed due to growth and staffing redistribution.
We’re open to creative scheduling—whether you're looking for consistent block work or partial coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years Level III or IV NICU experience preferred
Proficiency in performing neonatal procedures (intubation, line placement, etc.)
Ability to obtain credentialing with Froedtert Memorial Hospital
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Working Hours

Advanced procedures (intubation, central line placement, resuscitation)
Delivery attendance and newborn stabilization
EMR documentation and clinical communication
Team collaboration in high-acuity settings
Clear, professional handoff and sign-out practices
